On January 13, 2025 Arran-Elderslie Council approved the issuance of an “Expression of Interest” to Purchase and Re-Develop the Old Paisley Library building at 274 Queen Street North in Paisley.

The goal is to engage with qualified firms or individuals interested in purchasing and re-developing the property in keeping with the Municipality’s strategic objectives outlined in the Economic Strategic Plan and the Corporate Strategic Plan.

The Paisley Branch of the Bruce County Library moved to its new location in the Paisley Community Centre on June 12, 2024.

Mayor Hammell shares “We’re looking to connect this beloved landmark in the heart of Paisley with an owner who shares a vision for enhancing our community.”

Interested parties can visit the website www.arran-elderslie.ca for the Expression of Interest Package or contact the Municipality for further information. Submission deadline is April 17, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.

The building will be open for an additional site visit on Thursday March 13 from 1-3pm.

• Local Authority Services (LAS)
• Canoe Procurement Group of Canada
• Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery for Desktop Management Services and Products
