By-laws and Enforcement
The Municipality of Arran-Elderslie's By-Law Enforcement Officer enforces municipal by-laws in a way that protects the community's health, safety and quality of life. The By-Law Enforcement Officer investigates written complaints about property standards, parking, noise, zoning and other municipal by-laws.
You can file a complaint about a possible by-law violation by completing a complaint form. You can contact the Municipal office or By-Law Enforcement Officer with questions. Depending on the nature of the complaint, the By-Law Enforcement Officer may ask you to provide evidence and/ or to appear as a witness in any court proceeding about the complaint made.
The Municipality of Arran-Elderslie develops by-laws to protect our safety, environment, public health and maintain a pleasant community for our residents. Bylaws are available for the general public to view by contacting the Clerk.
