to Consider Site Plan Approval for the development of a Battery Energy Storage Facility at 157 7^th Street SW, Chesley ON

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie will be receiving information and documentation related to a development application for Site Plan Approval for a Battery Energy Storage Facility at 157 7^th Street SW, Chesley ON. 

The Council of the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie shall consider the application not earlier that at their meeting of: 

MONDAY JUNE 8, 2026 AT 9:00 AM

PURPOSE AND EFFECT: PowerBank Corporation (formerly SolarBank Corp.) is proposing the development of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at 157 7^th Street SW. The proposal consists of an approximately 4.99 MW / 19.96 MWh facility, including an access laneway and hydro connections, and was contracted under the Independent Electricity System Operator’s (IESO) LT1 procurement stream.
