Landfills

The Municipality operates two landfills. These landfills are open on specified days each week. You can view the Landfill Tipping Fees in our Fees By-Law.

  • Hazardous waste is not accepted at our landfills, and is collected by Bruce County at Household Hazardous Waste Days.
  • Used oil will not be accepted at any landfill site.
  • Agri-Plastic (twine, bunker cover, LLDPE white bale wrap and silage bags) are accepted at refuse garbage rates.

Please note you can only dump in the Municipality in which you live or pay taxes. We do not accept waste at our landfills from outside of Arran-Elderslie. If you live or pay taxes in Arran-Elderslie, please do not take your waste to another Municipality's landfill.
