Telephone and online banking payments can be made through most major financial institutions. Search payee by 'Arran-Elderslie'. You can also make in-person bill payments at most bank branches.

• Property Taxes
  • Use the 15 digit roll number for your account number 
  • Your tax roll number appears on your tax bill and looks like this: 4104-010-002-01890
• Water and Sewer Utilities
  • Use your 15 digit account number when setting up your water utility payment. Please fill in zeros at the beginning of your account number to fill in the 15 spaces.

Payments may be made in person at the Municipal Office using:

• Cash
• Cheque, made payable to 'Municipality of Arran-Elderslie'
• Debit Card

We are not able to accept credit card payments for Property Taxes and Sewer/Water Bills.

You can sign up to have pre-authorized payments debited from your bank account for property taxes. monthly or on the bill due date. If you are new to the program we will send out your monthly amount in January by mail.  If you are already enrolled in the program we will not send you out a notice unless your current amount changes.

Please note that to enroll in the program, you must have zero balance on your tax account.

If you sign up for monthly pre-authorized payments, the payment is debited from your account on the last business day of the month. The monthly payment is equal to your total taxes divided by 11 months.

In an effort to become more efficient and effective in processing Property Tax and Sewer/Water Bills, the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie is offering residents and businesses the opportunity to receive these bills by e-mail as opposed to regular mail. We see this green initiative as a value added service to the residents and business owners of Arran-Elderslie and hope that you agree. 

Please fill out an online form or contact the Municipal Office for a paper copy of the form to switch from receiving your Property Tax or Sewer/Water Bills in the mail to receiving them by e-mail.

If you pay a Water and Sewer bill for a Paisley property, you can sign up for pre-authorized payments. The payment will be debited from your bank account on the bill due date.
