Notice of Public Meeting to Consider the Changes to Building Permit Fees


TAKE NOTICE that the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality Of Arran-Elderslie will hold a public meeting on March 23, at 9:00 AM in the Council Chambers located at 1925 Bruce Road 10, Chesley, ON.


THE PURPOSE of the Public Meeting is to obtain public comments on the proposed changes to the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie’s existing building permit fees and is being held pursuant to Section 7(6) of the Building Code Act, 1992.


A REPORT outlining the changes and the rationale for the changes will be made available to the public on March 19, 2026 at www.arran-elderslie.ca


THE PROPOSED fee changes will be considered by Council on March 23, 2026.


ANY PERSON may attend the Public Meeting and make oral and/or written submissions either in support of or in opposition to the proposed fee changes.


IF YOU WISH to be notified of the adoption of the proposed fee changes, you must make a written request to the Clerk of the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie.
