Due to forecasted or observed weather conditions, the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie has declared a Significant Weather Event as of 11:00 AM Monday, January 19, 2026, in accordance with Ontario Regulation 366/18: Minimum Maintenance Standards for Municipal Highways.
A Significant Weather Event will remain in place until posted as "Lifted"

The Municipal Office in Chesley will be closed on Tuesday January 20, 2026 due to inclement weather. 

Staff will be working from home and can be reached by phone or email.

Community Centres and Arenas in Chesley, Paisley and Tara are closed until 2:00 at which time we will reassess the weather. Any programs this morning are cancelled.
