Arran‑Elderslie Appoints New Manager of Facilities, Parks and Recreation

CHESLEY, ON: The Municipality of Arran‑Elderslie is pleased to announce the appointment of Joel McAllister as the new Manager of Facilities, Parks and Recreation, effective January 13, 2026.

Joel will be familiar to residents across Arran‑Elderslie, having been a valued member of the Recreation Department for the past 14 years. Throughout his tenure, he has built strong relationships within the community and demonstrated a deep commitment to maintaining welcoming, accessible, and well‑managed recreational spaces.

Over the past several months, Joel has served in an acting capacity, where he has shown strong leadership, operational expertise, and a passion for enhancing municipal recreation services. Council and staff are confident that Joel’s experience, enthusiasm, and community‑focused approach make him an excellent fit for this role.

Arran-Elderslie provides community centres with arenas in Chesley, Paisley, and Tara, as well as numerous parks and outdoor sports fields throughout the municipality.
